⇒ Diameter of a circle = 6 cm
⇒ Radius of a circle = 6/2 = 3 cm
⇒ Area of a circle = $\mathrm{\pi }{\mathrm{r}}^2$
⇒ Area of a circle = $\frac{22}{7}\times 3^2=\frac{198}{7}{\mathrm{cm}}^2$
∴ The area of the largest circle that can be drawn inside the square is 198/7 ${\mathrm{cm}}^2$
