0.25 + 240 – 300 × 5 = ?

Solution:

Given,
(+) ⇒ (×), (–) ⇒ (+), (×) ⇒ (÷), (÷) ⇒ (–)
On changing the sign of eq.we get
(0.25 × 240 + 300 ÷ 5)
= (0.25 × 240) +

300/5

= 60 + 60 = 120
