A and B begin to move from point O. A goes towards 4m P, then goes from P to 6m Q, B goes toward 6m, then goes from R to 12m S.
∴ QS = RS – RQ
= RS – OP (∵ RQ = OP)
= 12 – 4 = 8
Hence B is 8m to the North of A.
