The relationship between modulus of elasticity (E) and modulus of rigidity (G) is expressed by relation → E = 2G ( µ+ 1) where µ is the Poisson's Ratio (Ratio of secondary or lateral strain to primary or longitudinal or axial strain).
So, $\left(\frac{\mathit{G}}{\mathit{E}}\right)=\frac{1}{\left[2\left(\mathit{\mu }+1\right)\right]};\left(\frac{\mathit{G}}{\mathit{E}}\right)$
= $\frac{1}{\left[\left(2\times 1+0.25\right)\right]}$
$=\frac{1}{2.5}=0.40$
