Which two signs and two numbers should be interchanged to make the given equation correct?

57 + 4 × 17 -11 ÷ 19 = 44

Solution:

By interchanging '4' and '19' and + and – we can balance the equation i.e,

57 + 4 × 17 -11÷19

Now interchanging '4' and '19' and '+ and ÷' we get

57 ÷19 × 17 -11 + 4

= 3 × 17 -11 + 4

= 51 -11 + 4

= 44
