In a coffee shop, a total of 58 customers came throughout the day. 36 of them ordered coffee and 32 of them ordered pizza. How many customers ordered both coffee and pizza?

Solution:

According to question,
∴

36 -x + 32 -x + x = 58

∴

68 -x = 58

∴

x = 68 -58 = 10

Hence 10 Customer ordered both coffee and pizza.
