What will be the self-inductance (in H) of a 2 m long air-cor e solenoid, if the diameter of the solenoid is 25 cm and has 600 turns?

Solution:

As we know
inductance

‘L’ = {N^2 A}/LI_1

=(600)^2×π/4{(25×10^{-2})^2}/2×4×3.14×10^{-7}

={36×25×25}/8×3.14×4×0.14×10^{-7}

= .011 H
