Given data
f = 50 Hz.
C = 0.04 mf = 0.04 × 10

^{–3}

X_C = ?

Now capacitive reactance

X_C=1/{ωC}

∴X_C=1/{2πFC}

(∵ω = 2πf)

⇒X_C= 1/{2×3.14×50×0.04×10^{-3}}

∴X_C=79.62\Ω
