Determine the magnetic field strength (in A–turns/m) when the intensity of magnetization of the material is 0.078 A–turns/meter and the magnetic susceptibility of the material is 0.0013.

Given data
B = 0.078 A-T/m

µ_0µ_r= 0.0013

H = ?
Now

B = µ_o µ_r H

where ‘B’ is Intensity of magnetisation and ‘H’ is magnetic field strength

∴H=B/{µ_0µ_r}=0.078/0.0013

= 60 A-T/m
