Rotor of hysteresis motor is made of magnetic material that has high hysteresis loss property. i.e. high retentivity and coercivity. Example of this type of material is chrome, cobalt, steel or alhico or alloy. Hystresis loss becomes high due to large area of hysteresis loop.
