Starting Torque

(T_{\st}) = K_1 E_2 I_2 \cos ϕ_2 .

K_1E_2×E_2/√{{R^2}_2+{x^2}_2}×R_2/Z_2

{K_1 {E^2}_2 R_2}/{{R^2}_2+{x^2}_2}

If rotor resistance is equal to stand-still reactance.
=

{K_1 {E^2}_2 X_2}/ {2{x^2}_2 }

{K_1 {E^2}_2}/{2{x^2}}

Which is equal to maximum Torque.
