Solution:

From the given data

V_{\Ph∆} /V_{\Phy}=a/1

For delta phase

- V_{\Ph∆}=V_{L∆}

and for Y Phase

-V_{\Phy}=1/√3V_{\Ly}

∴ Line to line voltage ratio of star - delta

V_{\Ly}/V_{L∆}={√3V_{\Phy}}/V_{\Ph∆}

=√3(1/a)=√3/a

∴ Option (d) is correct
