V_\av=V_\max/π

I_\av=V_\max/{π(R+R_0)}

={100√2}/{3.14×10}=4.5

Hot wire type instrument measure RMS value

\V_\rms

for half leave rectifier

\V_\rms=\V_\max/√2

I_\rms=\V_\max/{2×(R+R_0)}

={100√2}/{2×10}

= 7.07 A
