SSC JE Electrical Engineering 2010 Paper

An oscillator uses positive feedback. Positive feed back is used to have more gain. For oscillator the gain should be at maximum to have sustained oscillator.
On other hand negative feedback decreases the gain but gives stability to system. Usually negative feedback is use in amplifiers.
