=\tan ^{2}\(45-{\ϕ}/{2})

Coefficient of Passive Earth Pressure Coefficient:

{\K}_{{\p}}={1+\sin (\ϕ)}/{1-\sin (\ϕ)}

=\tan ^{2}\(45+{\ϕ}/{2})

Calculations:
For ϕ = 30°

{\K}_{{\a}}=\tan ^{2}(45-{30}/{2})=0.333

{\K}_{{\p}}=\tan ^{2}(45+{30}/{2})=3
