Solution:

As we known that,

γ_d= G/{1 +e}γ_w

18 = (2.7/(1+e)) ×10

(e) = ((27/18) -1) = 1.5 -1 = 0.50

W = {eS}/G = 0.5 × 1/2.7 = 0.18 ≈ 0.17

Hence, option (a) is correct.
