Solution:

The centroid of the lamina will be located at it’s centre

y_R=I_{\xc}/{y_cA}+y_c=I_{\xc}/{(1/2h)(bh)}+1/2h

(In case of rectangular plate,

I_{\xc}=1/12Ah^2=1/12bh^3

)
Depth of the postion of center of pressure:

y_R={1/12bh^3}/{1/2h.(bh)}+1/2h

=1/6h+1/2h=2/3h
