Duty (D) = 400 hectare/cum, Base period (B) = 100 days

∵\Δ( \metres)={8.64 {\B}}/{{\D}}

⇒\Δ={8.64 × 100}/{400}=2.16 {\m}

\Δ=2.16 {\m}=2160 {\mm}
