Uses of Blast furnace slag cement:- ● Used in ready mix concerts plants. ● Used for structure meant for water retaining such as retaining wall, rivers, ports, tunnels for improvement in impermeability. ● Used in mass concreting works such as dams, foundations which require low heat of hydration. ● Used in the places susceptible to chlorides and suslphate attacks such as sub-structure, bored piles, pre-cast piles and marines structure.
