Calculations:
Number of females

=60 \%

500=0.60 × 500=300

Number of males

=500-300=200

Total height of females

Number of females × Average height of females
⇒ Total height of females

=300 × 162=48600

Total height of males

=

Number of males × Average height of males
⇒ Total height of males

=200 × 168=33600

Total height of university

=

Total height of females + Total height of males
⇒ Total height of university

=48600+33600=82200

Average height of university

=\;{82200}/{500}

⇒ Average height of university

=164.4 cm
