Solution:

(1) Let the radius and height ofcone A be ra and ha, respectively,and those of cone B be rb and hb,respectively. Ratio of volumes ofcone A and B is

{1/3πr^2_ah_ a}/{1/3πr^2_bh_ b}={r_a}/{h_b}^2×{h_a}/{h_b}=1/2

⇒ 1/9× {h_a}/{h_b}=1/ 2

⇒{h_a}/{h_b}=9/2
