C.P. of the packet = ₹900
S.P. of packet$=\left[\frac{100-\mathit{L}\%}{100}\times \mathit{C}.\mathit{P}.\right]$
$=\left[\frac{100-8}{100}\times \mathit{C}\mathit{P}.\mathit{o}\mathit{f}1\mathit{k}\mathit{g}\right]$
$=\mathit{₹}\left[\frac{92}{100}\times 1000\right]$
$=\mathit{₹}\left[\frac{92}{100}\times 1000\right]$
=₹920
Gain = ₹ 920 – 900
=₹ 20
Gain% $=\left[\frac{20}{900}\times 100\right]\%$
=$\frac{20}{9}\%$
$=2\frac{2}{9}\%$
