Solution:

(4) If there is no discount, then S.P.= M.P.
∴Original S.P. = M.P.
Discount offered = 15% of originalS.P.
15% of original S.P. = 240 – 135= ₹105
⇒Original S.P. = `105× 100/15=700
∴C.P.

= 700 – 240 = ₹460
