Which of the following is an incorrect relation, if X, Y and Z are the angles of a triangle?

Solution:

(1) As X, Y and Z are the angles of atriangle
∴X + Y + Z = 180°

{X+ Y}/2=90°- Z/2

⇒cot{x+y}/2=cot[90°-z/2].

= tan Z/2 not tan Z.
Hence option 1 is incorrect.
