$\therefore \frac{50\left(\mathit{x}+1\right)+100\mathit{x}+200\left(\mathit{x}-1\right)}{\mathit{x}+1+\mathit{x}+\mathit{x}-1}$
⇒$\frac{50\mathit{x}+50+100\mathit{x}+200\mathit{x}-200}{3}\mathit{x}=100$
⇒$\frac{350\mathit{x}-150}{3}\mathit{x}=100$
⇒$350\mathit{x}\mathit{–}150=300\mathit{x}$
$\Rightarrow 350\mathit{x}\mathit{–}300\mathit{x}=150$
