Solution:

(3) The pattern of the series is thatthe term is the sum of its twoprevious terms.
Hence the pattern is:

12 + 13 = 25

13 + 25 = 38

25 + 38 = 63

38 + 63 = 101

63 + 101 = 164

101 + 164 = 265

∴ The required term is 265.
