(1)

cosecθ= a + 1/{4a}

cotθ = √{cosec^2θ- 1}

=√{a^2+1/{16a ^2}+1/2-1}

=

√{a^2+ 1/{16a^2} -1/2 =a-1/{4a}

}

∴ (cosec θ + cotθ) = a + 1/{4a}+ a

– 1/{4a}= 2a
