(3) The magnetic properties of a barmagnet can be destroyed by eitherheating or beating the magnet. If abar magnet is cut down into two,then each part will form its northand south poles and will behave asa magnet. Similarly, if two magnetsare sealed, then also the magneticproperties of the magnet will not beaffected.
