Let Cost Price of 1 apple = C.P.So, 0.05 = 96% of C.P.
C.P. $=\frac{5}{96}$
For a profit of 20%,
S. P. of one apple
$=\frac{5}{96}+20\%\mathit{o}\mathit{f}\frac{5}{96}$
$=\frac{6}{96}$
$=\frac{1}{16}$
Therefore, 16 apples should be soldper rupee to have a gain of 20%.
