Solution:

(1) After putting the correct symbols,the equation 12 M 14 H 10 T2 K 5 would be written as

12 – 14+ 10 ÷ 2 × 5.

= 12 – 14 + 10 ÷ 2 × 5

= 12 – 14 + 5 × 5

= 12 – 14 + 25

= 23
