Validate

Solution:

(3) Area of road along the length ofrectangle

= 54 × 2 = 108 m^2

Area of road along the breadth

= 40× 2 = 80 m^2

Common area of road along lengthand breadth

= 2 × 2 = 4 m^2

Total area covered by two roads

=108 + 80 - 4 = 184 m^2
