Solution:

(3) Let the original price be Rs. a.
Cost price of the car for Amit

={(100-10) \× {a}}/{100}+5000

=\ Rs.( {9 a}/{10}+5000\ )

Selling price of car for Amit

=\ (\ {9 a}/{10}+5000\ ) \× {120}/{100}=100000

⇒ a= {4700000}/{54}=Rs. 87037
