Solution:

(2) Given, AB = 6 cm and BC = 8 cm

A C=√{A B^{2}+B C^{2}}=√{6^{2}+8^{2}}=10 {cm}

Let OD = OF = OE = r cm.
Area of ( ΔAOB +ΔAOC +ΔBOC) = Area of ΔABC

( {1}/{2} \× 6 × r )+\ ( {1}/{2} × 8 × r )+ ( {1}/{2} × 10×r )

= {1}/{2} ×6 × 8

⇒r=2 cm
