{GD}= {1}/{3}×{AD}= {1}/{3} × 9=3 {cm}

{BG}= {2}/{3} ×{BE}= {2}/{3} 6=4 {cm}

Now in

{BD}=√{ {GD}^{2}+ {BG}^{2}}=√{9+16}=5 {cm}
