Solution:

In ΔACB, tan 30° =

{200-h}/x=1/√3

={500 -h}/x

x=(200-h)√3

In ΔADE,

\tan 45° =200/x

⇒

From Eq. (i)

200 = (200- h) √3

⇒

h = 200({√3-1}/√3)\m
