The equation of the line is

( y - y_1) /( x - x_1)=( y _2 - y _1)/(x _2 - x_1 )

i.e,

( y - 1)/(x+1)={-4-1}/{2+1}

⇒{y-1}/{x+1}=-5/3

⇒

3 y -3 = - 5 x - 5

⇒

5x + 3 y+ 2 = 0
