Find the ratio of its diameter to its height.

Solution:

{\Volume \of \cylinder}/{\Curved \surface \area \of \cylinder}={πr^2h}/{2πrh}

=924/264⇒r=924/264×2=7m

Hence, from the curved surface area of the cylinder, h

=264/{2πr}=6m

Therefore, required ratio

={2r}/h=14/6= 7: 3
