The equation of the line passing through (1, 2) and parallel to 3x + 4y + 7 = 0.

Solution:

4y = - 3x - 7

y=-{3x}/4-7/4

Since both lines are parallel then slope will be same and it passes through (1, 2)

y - 2 = -3/4(x-1)

4y +3x= 11
