Solution:

Let he radius of hemisphere and cone be R.
Height of hemisphere H = R
So the height of the cone = height of the hemisphere = R
Slant height of the cone

= √{R^2+R^2}

=√2R

{\hemishphere’\s \curved \surface \area}/{\cone’\s \curved \surface \area}

={2πR^2}/{π×R×√2R}

= √ 2 :1
