DIRECTIONS (Qs. 45-47): Study the followin g Piechart carefully and answer the questions given below:
A survey conducted on 5800 villagers staying in various villages and having various favourite fruits .

Mango is the favourite fruit of 50% of the people from village C. People having their favourite fruit as mango from village C form approximately what per cent of the people having their favorite fruit as mango from all the villages together?

Solution:

No of persons from village C = 32% of 5800 = 1856
From village C 50% of 1856 = 928 persons favourite fruit is mango.
28% of 5800 = 1624 people’s favourite fruit is mango
∴ Required %

= 928/1624×100 ≈ 57%
