⇒

(3.7)^x=10^4\and\ (0.037)^y = 10^4

⇒

(3.7) =10^{4/x+1}

and

(3.7) =10^{4/ y+3}

10^{4/ x+1}=10^{4/ y+3}

⇒

4/x+1=4/y+3

∴

4/x-4/y=3-1

⇒

1/x-1/y=1/2
