International Olympic Committee (IOC) officially added Breakdancing to the medal events programme at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games on December 7, 2020. Breakdancing now became an official Olympic sport. Also confirmed for Paris by the IOC executive board were skateboarding, sport climbing, and surfing. Summer Olympics 2024 is scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024 in Paris, France.
