Line of Actual Control (LAC) is an effective border between India and China. The concept of 'Line of Actual Control (LAC)' came in a bilateral agreement in 1993. The LAC is divided into three regions : the western sector in Ladakh, the middle sector in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, and the eastern sector which spans Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
