. If they work together, how much time will they take to assemble 60 toys?

Solution:

According to the question,
Time taken by Geeta and Sudha together to assemble a toy

\;\; =\;{1}/{{1}/{10}+\;{1}/{15}}=\;{1}/{{3+2}/{30}}=\;{30}/{5}

\;\; =6 {min}

∴

Time taken by both together to assemble 60 toys

=60 × 6=360 {min}=6 {h}
