'Per Drop More Crop' is the goal of Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY). The PMKSY was launched on July 01, 2015. The scheme is being implemented to expand cultivated area with assured irrigation, reduce wastage of water and improve water use efficiency. It is creating protective irrigation by harnessing rain water at micro level through 'Jal Sanchay' and 'Jal Sinchan' micro level through 'Jal Sanchay' and 'Jal Sinchan'.
