Let length of rectangle =

l

cm and breadth = 10 cm
⇒ Perimeter =

2(l + 10) = 44

⇒

l + 10 = 44/2 = 22

⇒

l=22-10=12

cm
∴ Area =

12 × 10 = 120 cm^2
