Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka. It is the second largest sanctuary in Karnataka and is located on the banks of river Kali. It is also a birdwatchers paradise, famous for the great hornbill and Malabar pied hornbill. Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary and Bhimgad Wildlife Sanctuary are some of the other wildlife sanctuaries located in Karnataka.
