Given,

B=1.5 B

and

C=0.4 {C}

∴ \;\; A+B+C=20

⇒ 1.5 × 0.4 C+0.4 C+C=20

⇒ \;\; 0.6 C+0.4 C+C=20

⇒ \;\; 2 C=20

⇒ \;\; C=\;{20}/{2}=10

∴ \;\; B=0.4 C=0.4 × 10=4

and

A=1.5 B=1.5 × 4=6

Now, the value of

2 B+3 C-4 A

=2 × 4+3 × 10-4 × 6

=8+30-24=14
