If 7%8 = 30, 4%3 = 14 and 4%9 = 26, then find the value of 1%8 = ?

Solution:

Given : 7%8 = 30, 4%3 = 14 and 4%9 = 26
If we replace '%' with '+', and multiply the sum by 2, we get the desired result.
Eg :-

(7 + 8) × 2 = 30

and

(4+3)×14

and

(4 + 9) × 2 = 26

Similarly,

(1 + 8) × 2 = 18
