Let marked price = Rs. 100
After 1st discount of 10%, price = $100-\left(\frac{10}{100}\times 100\right)$
=100 − 10 = 90
After 2nd discount of 20% (on changed price), selling price = $90-\left(\frac{20}{100}\times 90\right)$
= 90 − 18 = Rs. 72
After 3rd discount of 25%,net selling price = $72-\left(\frac{25}{100}\times 72\right)$
= 72 − 18 = Rs. 54
∴ Price is reduced by = $\frac{\left(100-54\right)}{100}\times 100=46\%$
